For those who don't know I am one hell of a music fan. I know the names, lives, and random crap about a lot of bands, mainly Thrash metal, Progressive metal, and plain Heavy metal.

I play an electric bass myself, but who doesn't like an amazing electric guitar rift. Who doesn't? So sadly, A man name Lester William Polsfuss died today, August 13, 2009. If you don't know who Lester William Polsfuss is then you may know him as Les Paul. Les Paul was a Jazz guitarist and inventor. He invented a producted called the log. The Log was the worlds first electric guitar. That's right the man who invented the electric guitar died today at the age of 94.

If you haven't guessed the famous Gibson Les Paul was named after him. He has 40 albums and 47 singles, a lot compared to a band like Motley Crue, who has 19 albums and 33 singles. This man traveled around playing guitar professionally from when he was around 13 into his 90's. That's commitment.

So what I guess i'm saying is Les Paul Rest in Peace.
